Or pretty little blankets. Colcha is the Spanish word for blanket or coverlet. It's the closest word for quilt and the one I have most commonly heard. A colchita is a blanket or a little quilt. A colchera is a quilter.

eBay is a gateway drug
I didn't know eBay was such a good source for fabric. I got this fat eighth bundle for about half price. And it's bright and I love it. I almost wish I hadn't realized how much is out there.
