It's hard to see from this photo but this is the in process shot. The shelves were perfectly straight but since out old walls are not, a lot of caulk was involved. Several rounds of it. Then painting the shelves. Then more caulk.
Again, kinda hard to tell but I finished painting them yesterday. Caulking started two days ago. I need to get some white pad things to put on the shelves and then we're loading those babies up!! Just try to imagine the piles on the counter are on the shelves, but in an orderly fashion.
Or, you could put some Mexican oilcloth on the shelves instead of white pad things.
