Colchitas...Colcheras...Colchas...all things quilts


Or pretty little blankets. Colcha is the Spanish word for blanket or coverlet. It's the closest word for quilt and the one I have most commonly heard. A colchita is a blanket or a little quilt. A colchera is a quilter.

On the Road

I'm off to Sewing Summit in Salt Lake City!
A) I'm super excited to go learn lots of sewing and media info.
B) I love Salt Lake city! I was last there in 2003 after a summer of working at Yellowstone National Park. It's also where I got my tattoos (boy I wish I could get more but sadly no funds for that).

I will try to send some pics and updates. Mainly, I promise to come back armed with knowledge and inspiration.
