Colchitas...Colcheras...Colchas...all things quilts


Or pretty little blankets. Colcha is the Spanish word for blanket or coverlet. It's the closest word for quilt and the one I have most commonly heard. A colchita is a blanket or a little quilt. A colchera is a quilter.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

I have been quilting up a storm- I've finished 3, nearly 5 tops and am quilting up a storm. I want to get pictures posted soon but I am never home when there is natural light. So I don't have pictures. I want to take some but there is just no time. I can't wait to have time- soon, soon.
But that's what's been happening. I'm still here and sewing, sewing, sewing.
