Our backyard has no grass but is incredibly lush. When Adam bought this house he made a point of getting rid of all of the grass (he had no intention of ever mowing a lawn) and planted violets and lemon balm. They love it down in the little hole that is our backyard. He also planted some walking onions and they have been slowly taking over the backyard.
The dogs love it back here but it would be nice if they had more of a space to play. Perhaps in building an addition that will happen? Or not. Either way, it is lovely back here. We don't have long until the mosquitoes are in full attack mode. So we're enjoying the cool mornings and twinkling sunlight in the afternoons.
